Different types of California's wild animals have learned to adapt and thrive at our homes. Animals love to live and breed in our attics because of the warmth. Its the perfect getaway resort for them and they prefer permanent tenancy...  Wildlife will dig under our homes, porches, decks, and when they do they cause damage and create health problems for us. Rodents, likes rats and squirrels, love to chew on electrical wires which file their teeth down because a rodents teeth just keep on growing! Can you imagine if they didn't? They'd be dragging themselves around with them! Lol Jokes aside, the result from the chewing can cause serious fire hazards and electrical equipment failures. Raccoons are the cutest animals but carry diseases that are dangerous to us and they can cause serious contamination in an attic with their droppings and parasites. Bat and bird colonies will do the same. We are the quintessential specialists in solving California's wildlife problems with non-lethal humane removal protocols. From snake removal to rat control and everything in between, to restoring your home so you can safely move back in. Hi! I'm Zack Heart aka Outback Zack,

That's me, the human in the pic with the adorable Raccoon kits! They make me look good. Some of you may know me from TV. I host a few different shows. Currently I'm hosting Planet X TV's regular weekly show and the all NEW "Walkabout with Outback Zack". When I'm not performing like a seal on TV, me and my amazing animal removal team are giving home and business owners peace of mind by evicting their animal visitors and making sure they don't return!

We have been servicing San Bernardino County, Big Bear, Malibu, Thousand Oaks, and surrounding cities for the last 13 years! We love all God's creatures and give them the respect and appreciation they deserve. But we understand they don't make great house guests! So with great empathy and care we skillfully remove and exclude them from businesses and homes.

Any questions about anything just give us a call. Life gets busy but if you could leave us a 5 star review on Yelp I'd really appreciate it and will let you know that.

Blessings,

Zack : )

San Bernardino County Animal Facts and Questions!

San Bernardino County Wildlife Removal FAQ: Is Bat Feces Hazardous To Humans?

The short answer is YES. It is extremely hazardous and a danger to humans. There are a number of very important steps one must take if they are in an environment that contains bat feces, or "Guano" as it is commonly known. Bat feces can be transmitted to humans by touch and also simply by breathing in the particles that become air born. Breathing the spores in causes infection.

Bat Feces Diseases

There are a number of diseases that can be
transmitted by these particlesThe No.1 disease transmitted by bat feces is called Histoplasmosis. The disease caused by the fungus Histoplasma Capsulatum. Symptoms vary but this disease affects the lungs. Occasionally it affects other organs and this form is known as disseminated histoplasmosis. The disease in this form can be fatal if untreated. Anyone can get the disease, particularly infants and young children. As well as the elderly and those with weakened immune systems. In most cases those that are infected show don't show ill affects. It is classified as a respiratory disease which produces a sick feeling, fever, dry cough, and chest pains. Some cases progress to chronic lung disease and death if untreated. Symptoms will occur within 3 to 17 days if infected. Salmonella is another condition caused by bat feces or bat urine. Symptoms range from vomiting, diarrhea, to an upset stomach and can be more severe in young children and the elderly.

How To Clean Bat Feces

The danger associated with cleaning bat feces or droppings is that you must be aware that simply by disturbing the feces, countless histoplasmosis particles can become air born, which if inhaled can transmit the disease. You must be extremely careful when cleaning bat or bird droppings, which can also cause the disease. When collected it is wise to use a container or double bags to make sure it is securely contained and poses no threat to anyone.

Safety Measures To Take With Bat Feces

Before entering an area containing bat droppings be sure to be wearing a proper breathing apparatus. This is an imperative device to equip when performing this type of work. Also equip goggles and make sure they secure enough where they hug the face allowing no air in. Clothing must cover all skin. Better to wear a suit you can dispose of depending on volume of bat feces as well as a thick pair gloves to protect your skin as thin gloves may allow the guano to reach your skin.
